I purchased two at the time for a car that had a intermittant sinking float.

The original float is pictured in Pict1.

However when I fitted the new foat onto the original hinge and placed it inti the carburetor, the float became jammed against the wall of the carb.

I believe that the distance from the hinge pin to the crossbar for the floats is too long maybe by about three millimeters.
